A slight movement in the corner of his eye made Sora flick his head in the direction of another alleyway. He stared for a while and waited for his eyes to make out a shape.
After a few seconds he could see the shape of someone sitting against a wall holding his legs. He couldn't see his face but he could make out a black, sleeveless shirt, large shoes and spikey blonde hair.
"Roxas!" Sora yelled and ran into the alley.
Roxas was brought back to consciousness and slowly lifted his head. He turned his head toward the noise and saw an object coming towards him. Before Roxas could react, Sora fell on his knees and held Roxas around his waist, his head pressed against Roxas' chest.
Roxas was in shock by the sudden embrace and got ready to push this intruder away. Since he could not see the person's face he was very confused as to whom this person was, but as soon as he saw the person's clothes and hair, he knew.

The sun starts to set and the city's bustle starts to fade with the dimming light.
The alleys are always one of those places one tries to avoid, whether it's light or dark. Knowing that, he treads hastily trough the dark halls between the towering buildings above and around him. As he yells the person's name he so desperately needs to find, he stares out in front of him.
As the setting sun's rays warm the back of his neck, he notices how the alleys actually seem kind of welcoming to outsiders. Not a cold blue and grey but a warm brown and yellow that reflect off of the surrounding structures and unto the floor that has become the home of so many forgotten souls.
Was this some kind of welcome mat to those who seek it? Or merely a cover for something more sinister, these corridors would turn dark soon and who knows what beasts lurk in the darkness.
He, of all people, knew what hides within darkness.
